Vashon Island Winter Beach Elopement

Lydia + Lizzy celebrated their marriage in February with a non-traditional beachside elopement in the Pacific Northwest’s “Vashon Island” just outside of Seattle, Washington. They started their day cooking breakfast, getting each other dressed, and then read their vows on the beach as the waves gently lapped the shore.

What followed was a canoe ride on the Puget Sound, a dance party on the deck, and some pottery in the garage. Lydia and Lizzy were full of life on this wholesome day that was truly them, and encapsulated their beautiful relationship with each other. It was everything your wedding day should be, and I was honored to capture it on Super 8 Film as well. It was the perfect Pacific Northwest Elopement. Also featured on Dancing with Her.
